Cleanliness while camping? A matter of honor at Schitterhof!
Are you not a typical camper and a bit concerned about hygiene and cleanliness at the campsite? Or are you afraid that chaos will reign while the engines roar outside on the track?
No worries! We'll address your concerns. The Schitterhof Campground is proud to be one of the neatest camps right next to the Formula 1 racetrack. We want you to feel right at home with us - almost like at home, just with more action and a real motorsport vibe.
Here's how we keep our camp spotless for you:
1. Cleaning service around the clock
Our team is not only super friendly but also extremely fast. We patrol the site regularly, keep the dining areas and recreational areas clean, and ensure that no trash is left behind. The most important thing for your well-being: Our sanitary facilities are supervised around the clock. So toilets and showers are clean and operational whenever you need them.
2. Our trash bag service at the pitch
We make it as easy as possible for you: Upon your arrival at check-in, each guest receives two colored trash bags from us.
Yellow bag: For plastic and aluminum.
Blue bag: For your residual waste.
This way, you can conveniently separate your waste directly at your pitch. The best part: You don't have to worry about transportation in the end. Simply leave the full bags at your pitch when you depart - our team will collect them and ensure proper disposal.
3. Waste management & recycling
In addition to the bags, we have distributed trash bins throughout the entire Schitterhof Campground, which we empty at short intervals. Sustainability is important to us: You will find recycling stations near the sanitary facilities where you can cleanly separate glass, plastic/aluminum, and paper. And if you arrive with your own caravan or motorhome: We have set up an area where you can easily dispose of your chemical waste/greywater.
4. Awareness & guest cooperation 🤝
At Schitterhof, we believe in fair cooperation. We inform our guests about our system upon their arrival. Through this shared sense of responsibility, we ensure that nature is respected and the campground remains a pleasant place for everyone.
