Camping BASIC - What is included (size, equipment, electricity, sanitary facilities)?

30 m² parking space (4 × 7.5 m) on grassy area with a slight slope. Allowed are cars with tents, two motorcycles with tents, or a camper van up to a maximum length of 6 meters. Access to the general sanitary facilities (showers and toilets) as well as the dining area. Optional electricity connection (230 V / 8 A Schuko) available for an additional fee.

Camping BASIC - How much does the BASIC pitch cost per event (DTM, Formula 1, MotoGP)?

In Formula 1, the price for three nights and two adults is 420 euros. For MotoGP and Airpower, the price for two nights and two adults is 158 euros. In DTM, there is no BASIC pitch, only the PREMIUM area including electricity at the BASIC price.

Camping BASIC - How is the price calculated (per event Wednesday to Monday or per night)?

The prices are valid for the respective event weekend. Minimum stay for DTM, Airpower, and MotoGP is two nights, for Formula 1 it is three nights.

Camping BASIC - What is the surcharge for an electrical connection (230 V / 8 A)?

Optional bookable power connection starting from 50 euros for events with a minimum stay of two nights. For a secure connection, an extension cable with a length of approximately 40 meters is recommended.

Camping BASIC - What is the surcharge for a private toilet at the pitch?

Optional chemical private toilet from 185 euros at Formula 1 and MotoGP (emptying included).

Camping BASIC - How many guests are allowed at maximum?

Maximum of six persons per pitch. Children up to 14 years stay for free.

Camping BASIC - Which types of vehicles are allowed (tent, caravan, motorhome up to ...)?

Tents with cars as well as small camping vans or motorhomes up to a maximum length of 6 meters are allowed in the BASIC area. Vehicles over 6 meters can be accommodated in the PREMIUM area.

Camping BASIC - Are there any special features of the terrain (e.g. slight slope, ground conditions)?

Partial slope with grassy ground (clay soil, limited drainage). In case of rain, access roads will be gravelled and signposted.

Camping PREMIUM

Camping PREMIUM - What equipment is included (48 m², level ground, electricity included, sanitary facilities)?

48 m² parking space on flat, well-kept grass with included power connection (230 V / 8 A, Schuko CEE 7/3). Access to the communal sanitary facilities with showers and toilets. Private toilet optionally available for booking.

Camping PREMIUM - How much does the PREMIUM pitch cost per event (DTM, Formula 1, MotoGP)?

Formula 1: 3 nights / 2 adults from €420. MotoGP and Airpower: 2 nights / 2 adults from €248. DTM: 2 nights / 2 adults from €158. Electricity is included in the price.

Camping PREMIUM - How is the price calculated (per event Wednesday to Monday or per night)?

The price is valid for 2 persons and the respective minimum stay of 2 or 3 nights.

Camping PREMIUM - What are the differences compared to BASIC (area, location, electricity)?

PREMIUM pitches are larger (48 m² instead of 30 m²), located on flat terrain, and include electricity in the price. They are also more centrally located and offer well-maintained grassy areas.

Camping PREMIUM - Is the private toilet optional and at what price?

Optional chemical private toilet from 185 € - only available for Formula 1 and MotoGP (including emptying after the event).

Camping PREMIUM - How many guests are allowed maximum?

Maximum of eight persons per pitch. Children up to 14 years stay for free.

Camping PREMIUM - Which types of vehicles are allowed (motorhome up to ..., overlength upon request)?

Vehicles up to 7.5 m in length can park in the PREMIUM area. For longer or heavier vehicles up to 12 m, the KING SIZE category (13 × 6 m / 78 m², flat surface, electricity included) is available.

Chalet

Chalet - What equipment is included (interior dimensions, beds, electricity, power outlets/USB, lighting)?

Interior dimensions 2.20 × 2.80 m with two bunk beds made of Swiss stone pine wood, whose essential oils promote a particularly restful sleep. Power supply 230 V / 8 A, five Schuko sockets (CEE 7/3), two USB charging ports, and interior lighting. Access to the shared sanitary facilities, exclusive VIP bathrooms, and the gastronomy area.

Chalet - Are there exclusive VIP bathrooms for chalet guests and how many?

Four separate VIP bathrooms are exclusively available to chalet guests. They are modernly equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet.

Chalet - How much does the chalet cost per event (DTM, Formula 1, MotoGP)?

For the MotoGP and Airpower events, the chalet costs from 1,078 euros for two nights and two people, for the Formula 1 event for three nights and two people 1,998 euros, and for the DTM event for two nights and two people 518 euros.

Chalet - Is there a minimum stay required in the chalet (e.g. two nights)?

Minimum stay of two nights per event. Check-in and check-out are only possible during official opening hours.

Chalet - How far is the parking lot and is an additional vehicle allowed?

One parking space per chalet is included (approximately 100 meters away). An additional vehicle can be parked at an external parking lot for 15 euros per night.

Chalet - Are children up to 14 years old free of charge?

Children up to 14 years old stay for free.

Chalet - How much does the optional bed linen and towel set cost?

Optional bed linen and towel set 35 euros per person (includes bed sheet, blanket, pillow, covers, and two towels).

Add-ons & Extras (alle Kategorien)

Extras - What is the fee for an additional vehicle (external parking)?

Additional vehicle in external parking lot 15 euros per night. The parking lot is located right next to the main entrance and is accessible 24/7.

Extras - Can oversized vehicles (up to 12 m) be booked, and at what additional cost?

For oversize vehicles up to 12 meters in length, the separate category KING SIZE is available. These parking spaces are 13 × 6 meters in size (78 m²), are located on flat ground, have electricity connection, and also allow for a higher total weight.

Extras - What rules apply to second vehicles, trailers, or motorcycles?

For each parking space, one car or two motorcycles can be parked in BASIC, and up to four motorcycles in PREMIUM. Trailers are allowed to be parked at the parking space, as long as it is possible in terms of space and does not affect the neighboring plot.

Extras - Is the option of a "private toilet" available at the pitch and how is it cleaned/emptied?

Optional chemical private toilet 185 euros per event. Will be set up at the pitch, regularly checked, and emptied and disposed of by staff after the event.

Extras - What is the surcharge for electricity (if not included)?

Electricity is already included in PREMIUM, KING SIZE, and CHALET. In BASIC, electricity costs 99 euros for Formula 1 and 60 euros for MotoGP. An extension cord of at least 25 meters, ideally 40 meters, is recommended.

Extras - Can group areas be reserved or combined?

When booking two or more pitches, these will generally be allocated next to or behind each other. If a guest arrives earlier, the adjacent pitch can be kept free until the arrival of the second guest.

Extras - What special requests (e.g. early check-in, late check-out) can be requested?

Check-in is generally possible from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Upon request, arrival can be extended until midnight, provided that notice is given by phone no later than 10:00 pm on the day of arrival.

Buchung & Reservierung

How does the booking process work step by step (online form, invoice, payment, confirmation)?

The booking is exclusively done online via https://www.schitterhof.at/#events The guest is guided step by step through the booking and payment process on the website. After completing the online payment, a booking confirmation is automatically sent via email. For SEPA payments, the confirmation may take a few days until the payment is processed. Once the confirmation email has been received, the pitch is considered reserved. The invoice is attached to the email. For questions: servus@schitterhof.at

Which payment methods are accepted (SEPA, credit card, PayPal, iDEAL)?

Accepted payment methods: SEPA bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and iDEAL for guests from the Netherlands.

What are the cancellation conditions and refund rules (e.g. 14 days, no refund thereafter)?

Free cancellation within 14 days after booking, provided that the event is not imminent. For bookings made within 14 days before the event, no cancellations are possible. In the case of justified cancellations up to 4 weeks before the event, we will make every effort to find an amicable solution. In the event of the event being canceled, the booking remains valid for the replacement date. For any inquiries, please contact us via email at servus@schitterhof.at.

What happens in case of a rescheduling or cancellation of the event at the Red Bull Ring?

In case of a rescheduling by the organizer, the booking will automatically be transferred to the new date. In case of a complete cancellation, the payment for the replacement date remains valid. A refund will only be issued if no replacement date is offered. For inquiries, please contact servus@schitterhof.at.

Are there minimum stays or minimum nights required for major events (Formula 1, MotoGP)?

The minimum stay for Formula 1 is three nights. For MotoGP, Airpower, and DTM, a minimum stay of two nights applies. Guests can leave earlier at any time, but no refund will be given for unused nights.

AIRPOWER 2027 - Are there any special offers, prices, or rules during the air show?

The AIRPOWER is an international air show at Hinterstoisser Airport in Zeltweg and takes place on Friday, September 3, and Saturday, September 4, 2027. The Schitterhof campsite is open during this time, and many guests already book a year in advance. Most visitors stay for two nights, from Friday to Sunday; the minimum stay is one night. Practice flights can be seen over the campsite on Thursday, and the flight squadrons depart on Sunday. The event site is located about 2 km away and can be reached in approximately 30 minutes on foot or by bike via side streets and field paths. There is a free, guarded bicycle parking lot right in front of the airfield. Shuttle buses are currently not planned. Prices start at €158 for 2 persons / 2 nights for Camping BASIC, €248 for Camping PREMIUM, and €1,078 for a Chalet.

Can I change or rebook my reservation afterwards (category, period, extras)?

Changes are possible as long as seats are available. Changes to the category, period, or extras must be made in writing via email to servus@schitterhof.at. Amounts already paid will be credited towards the new booking.

Can I reserve pitches next to each other (for groups) and how is this organized?

Group bookings can be made online. The system automatically calculates multiple seats based on the number of vehicles.

Are there early booking or group discounts and under what conditions?

Occasionally early booking promotions are offered. Group discounts are available upon request, valid only for joint arrival and a common booking number. Inquiries via email to servus@schitterhof.at.

How do I know that my payment was successful (confirmation email, invoice)?

After receipt of payment, an automatic email confirmation with invoice will be sent. This serves as a binding booking confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours, please contact servus@schitterhof.at.

Can I book by phone or only online (binding nature of online reservation)?

Booking is exclusively done online via https://www.schitterhof.at/#events; telephone inquiries are possible but do not replace a binding reservation. For questions regarding online booking, please contact servus@schitterhof.at.

Is a deposit required or only full payment in advance?

No deposit required. Booking will only be binding upon full payment. Payment and reservation must be completed within the specified deadline.

Is there a waiting list for fully booked events and how does it work?

At fully booked events, you can put yourself on the waiting list. Available spots will be allocated via email based on the date of the request. Registration for the waiting list at servus@schitterhof.at

Anreise & Zugang

How do I get to the campsite (address, access, GPS coordinates)?

The campsite Schitterhof-Camping Weiss is located in 8724 Spielberg, Spielbergerstraße 12, around 900 meters from the Red Bull Ring. GPS coordinates: 47.216 N, 14.766 E. Access is clearly signposted during major events.

When is the check-in open and when am I allowed to arrive (times per event)?

The check-in opens depending on the event: Formula 1 - Wednesday 12:00-22:00, Thursday 08:00-23:00, Friday 08:00-22:00; MotoGP - Wednesday 12:00-22:00, Thursday 08:00-22:00, Friday 08:00-22:00. Check-in on Saturday or Sunday only upon request at servus@schitterhof.at.

Is it possible to check in outside of the regular hours (late evening, early morning)?

A check-in outside of these hours is not possible. Arriving guests can stay overnight in the waiting parking lot in front of the premises and check in the next morning from 08:00 onwards.

How far is the campsite from the main entrance of the Red Bull Ring (walking distance in minutes)?

The campsite is located only about 900 meters from the main entrance of the Red Bull Ring. The walk takes about 10 minutes.

Are there any traffic or access restrictions during the events and diversions?

During the events Formula 1, MotoGP, and Airpower, there are temporary road closures and diversions in place. However, access to the Schitterhof campsite is always possible for booked guests. Please follow the signs with a white background and a black tent symbol.

Do I receive a bracelet or ticket for access to the site?

During check-in, each guest will receive a colored wristband, which serves as access authorization for the premises. It must be visibly worn throughout the entire stay.

Is there a waiting parking lot in case I arrive too early?

A waiting area is located directly in front of the check-in area. Guests can park there for free until the site opens.

Can I arrive and stay overnight the day before the event starts (from Wednesday)?

Arrival is possible from Wednesday before the respective event. Earlier arrival is not provided for, as the premises will only be open from that day.

What rules apply to oversized vehicles (e.g. motorhomes over 7.5 tons)?

Vehicles up to 7.5 tons total weight are allowed. Larger vehicles or special transporters only by prior arrangement at servus@schitterhof.at.

Can I arrive by public transportation (Knittelfeld train station, shuttle bus)?

A bus stop is located directly in front of the campsite. Knittelfeld train station is about 4 kilometers away. During events, shuttle buses run to the Red Bull Ring, from there a footpath of about 10 to 15 minutes leads to the Schitterhof campsite.

Are there signs or signposts for "Camping Weiss" leading to Schitterhof?

The signage consists of a black camping tent on a white background and is clearly visible during all major events from the Zeltweg Ost motorway exit as well as in the town center of Spielberg.

How are access and exit routes regulated to avoid traffic jams?

Arrival and departure routes are coordinated by the organizer. Departure on Sunday is monitored and authorized by security personnel. Guests of the Schitterhof can usually leave approximately one hour after the end of the race – earlier than the official deadline of 8:00 p.m. Departure via the nearby S36 motorway (800 m away) is recommended to avoid traffic jams.

How far is it from the campsite to the grandstands at the Red Bull Ring?

Depending on the grandstand (T1 to T9), the walking time ranges from about 10 to 30 minutes.

Stellplätze & Ausstattung

What types of pitch categories are available and how big are they (MINI, BASIC, PREMIUM, KING-SIZE, Chalet)?

There are five pitch categories: Camping MINI (20 m², slight slope, only for one tent without electricity and without parking space), Camping BASIC (30 m², partial slope, optional electricity connection), Camping PREMIUM (48 m², level ground, electricity included), Camping KING SIZE (13 × 6 m / 78 m², flat surface, electricity included), and Chalet (2.2 × 2.8 m interior dimension, four beds, electricity, VIP bathrooms, parking included).

Which power rating and plug types are available (230 V / 8 A, Schuko CEE 7/3)?

On PREMIUM and KING SIZE pitches, electricity is available as standard. BASIC pitches have around 80 electricity connections that can be optionally booked. MINI pitches do not have an electricity connection.

Is there Wi-Fi on the premises or reliable mobile phone reception?

There is no Wi-Fi provided by the campsite operator, but mobile phone reception is stable throughout the entire area.

Are generators, heaters, or air conditioners allowed (rules, times, noise level)?

External power generators are not allowed. Only heating and air conditioning systems permanently installed in motorhomes may be operated.

Are there accessible parking spaces or sanitary facilities (number, location)?

The campsite currently does not have any specifically barrier-free sanitary facilities.

How accessible is the campsite overall (access, paths, surfaces)?

Which extension cables/adapters should I bring along (length, protection class, Schuko/CEE)?

A recommended extension cable with a length of 40 meters (at least 25 meters) and a splash-proof Schuko coupling is recommended. Adapters for CEE plugs are useful.

How far away are the power outlets from the pitch (typical distances)?

The power distribution boxes are located either directly next to the pitch or up to 40 m away, depending on the location.

Are the paths on the premises illuminated (main paths, night lighting)?

The main paths are continuously illuminated with fairy lights at night, as well as the sanitary facilities.

Are there any paved or shaded parking spaces (areas, trees)?

Only a few parking spaces at the edge are partially shady; the majority of the parking areas are sunny and open.

Does the traffic code require walking speed on the premises?

Throughout the entire premises, a walking speed applies in accordance with the road traffic regulations (maximum 10 km/h).

What happens if I park outside of the designated parking areas?

Vehicles parked outside of the designated areas will be towed for safety reasons. The vehicle owner will be responsible for the costs.

Am I allowed to carry out minor repairs on the vehicle at the campsite?

Smaller repairs on the vehicle such as changing a tire are allowed, provided that no environmental pollution occurs. Oil changes or major works are prohibited.

Am I allowed to attach objects to fences or buildings (prohibition, alternatives)?

Attaching objects to fences, buildings, or electrical boxes is prohibited. Alternatives include using your own pavilions or tent holders.

Wasser & Sanitär

How is the water supply organized (water taps, no direct connection at the pitch)?

The water at the campsite has the highest drinking water quality and comes from the public supply. There are central water collection points in all camping areas, especially in the check-in area and at the sanitary facilities. A direct connection at the pitch is not provided.

Where are the sanitary facilities located and how are they equipped (toilets, showers, sinks)?

Sanitary facilities are located centrally on the premises with separate areas for ladies and gentlemen, each equipped with toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors. Hot water is available.

Are there exclusive VIP bathrooms for chalet guests (number, access)?

Four exclusive VIP bathrooms are available exclusively to chalet guests. Access is only possible with a chalet wristband.

How does waste disposal work at the campsite (collection points, separation)?

Each guest will receive two colored garbage bags at check-in: a yellow bag for plastic and aluminum cans, and a blue bag for general waste. The bags can be left at the pitch upon departure and will be collected by the team. Additionally, there are garbage containers for paper, glass, yellow bags, and general waste in the area of the sanitary facilities.

Are there accessible showers or toilets for guests with limited mobility?

There are no accessible showers or toilets.

How often are the sanitary facilities cleaned (interval, peak times)?

The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day during events - in the morning, at noon, and in the evening. During peak times, there will be intensified cleaning.

Are there separate family or individual shower cabins available?

There are only individual shower cabins in the central sanitary area.

Is there hot water available 24/7 or are there specific time slots?

Hot water is available around the clock. Brief interruptions are only possible during cleaning times.

Are there disposal stations for motorhomes or chemical toilets (location, hours)?

Emptying stations for motorhomes and chemical toilets are located in the check-in area and can be used daily from 08:00 to 22:00.

Are there hand washing stations or disinfectant dispensers at the entrances?

There are no disinfectant dispensers.

What happens if parking spaces or sanitary facilities are left heavily soiled (service fee)?

The depositing of bulky waste (e.g. old refrigerators, tents, or camping chairs) may result in a surcharge of at least 100 euros for disposal.

Are there any indications regarding water quality or the efficient use of water?

The drinking water complies with the Austrian quality standard. Guests are kindly asked to use water sparingly during the main events.

Gastronomie & Einkauf

Is there catering available at the campsite (breakfast, snacks, drinks) and what are the opening hours?

At the campsite, there is a dining area offering breakfast, snacks, and drinks. Opening hours are daily from 07:00 to 23:00 during the event days. Breakfast is served from 07:00 onwards, and hot meals are available from 11:00.

Is barbecuing allowed - and what type of grill is permitted (gas, electric, open fire prohibited)?

Grilling is allowed with a gas or electric grill. The use of charcoal grills is not explicitly prohibited, but it is not recommended. If a charcoal grill is used, ash and charcoal residues must be completely cooled down and disposed of in the designated containers. Open fires and fire bowls are not allowed for safety reasons.

Where can one shop nearby (supermarket, bakery, gas station, distances)?

A free supermarket shuttle runs every 30 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays directly in front of the campsite at the Formula 1 and MotoGP events.

Are there vegetarian or vegan options in the catering area (examples)?

Vegetarian dishes are available in the catering sector upon request.

How can one pay in the catering sector (cash, card, minimum amount)?

Payment in the catering sector is possible in cash or by card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro). There is no minimum amount for card payments.

Is there Wi-Fi in the dining area or around the reception?

WLAN is currently not available in the restaurant area or in the vicinity of the reception.

Are there designated quiet areas or family zones?

The night-time quiet period is strictly observed throughout the entire site. Pitch locations on the outskirts are naturally quieter than those in the central area.

Are there any recycling requirements (glass ban, waste separation, deposit)?

Glass bottles are not explicitly prohibited on the premises, but they are discouraged. Waste separation into residual waste, plastic, paper, and metal is mandatory.

Are there drinking water refill stations for bottles?

Drinking water refill stations are located at the sanitary buildings and can be used there free of charge.

Are there ways to freeze ice packs or use cool boxes?

Ice cubes can be purchased at MATTEO in the gastronomy sector. Rental cool boxes are not offered.

What gastronomic offers are available directly at the campsite?

At the campsite, two dining areas are available: MATTEO offers breakfast, pizza, and pasta in the evening, while MAMAS TACOS serves tacos and burritos.

Haustiere

Are pets allowed at the campsite and what are the general rules that apply?

Pets are allowed at the campsite. They must be supervised at all times and must not disturb other guests. The pet owner is responsible for cleaning and safety.

What special rules apply to dogs (leash requirement, quiet hours, behavior)?

For dogs, leash requirement applies throughout the entire premises. The quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am also apply to animals. Aggressive or persistently loud behavior may result in eviction.

Are there dog waste bag dispensers or designated dog areas?

There are no poop bag dispensers. Guests are asked to bring their own bags and to properly dispose of their pets' waste.

Are pets allowed in the sanitary or gastronomy areas?

Pets are not allowed in the sanitary and gastronomy areas. In the outdoor area of the gastronomy zone, dogs may be carried on a leash.

Are there any restrictions for specific breeds/sizes or the number of animals?

There are no restrictions for specific breeds or sizes, however, a maximum of two animals per pitch is allowed.

Do vaccination records/chip data need to be carried?

Vaccination certificate and chip data should be carried, especially when arriving from abroad.

Are there any nearby walking or exercise options for dogs?

Several walking paths run around the campsite, including a meadow route along the moss path, which is ideal for letting dogs run free.

How are violations of the animal rules penalized?

Violations of the animal rules can be punished with a warning or, in severe cases, with eviction. Cleaning costs for contamination will be charged starting from 100 euros.

E-Mobilität & Stromversorgung

Are there charging facilities for electric cars directly at the campsite?

At the campsite itself, there are currently no fixed charging stations for electric cars. Charging via the normal power supply of the pitch is not permitted for safety reasons.

Where is the nearest public charging station located (address, minutes/distance)?

The next public charging station is located at the RingRast gas station, around 500 meters away from the campsite.

Are there charging options available for electric motorhomes or vans (power, plug types)?

E-campers or vans cannot currently be charged directly at the pitch via high-voltage power. The existing 230V connections are solely for basic power supply (max. 8 A).

Can e-bikes be charged on site (where, which power outlets)?

E-bikes can be charged at the parking space using the regular Schuko sockets.

How does the billing of the charging current work (kWh, flat rate, app/card)?

The billing of the charging current is exclusively done at the public charging station via common charging apps or cards such as SMATRICS, EnBW, or Shell Recharge. There is no charging option available for electric vehicles at the campsite itself.

Are there any instructions for cable securing and avoiding tripping hazards?

Cables must always be laid in such a way that no tripping hazards arise. Cable securing or covering is recommended.

Is charging at the pitch via the Schuko connection allowed (site rules, protection)?

Charging a car at the parking space via the Schuko socket is prohibited according to the site regulations. The sockets are only designed for household appliances up to 8 A.

Are there load or backup limits per connection (8 A) and what do they mean?

Each connection is protected with a 8 A fuse, which means that only devices with a maximum power of approximately 1.8 kW may be operated simultaneously.

Which adapters are allowed or prohibited (safety regulations)?

Only tested adapters and cables with CE marking are allowed. Provisional or multiple adapters without protection class IP44 are prohibited.

What highlights does the Spielberg region offer apart from the races (top tips)?

The region Spielberg offers numerous leisure activities even outside of race weekends. Particularly popular are the Aqualux Fohnsdorf thermal spa, the Sachendorf equestrian club, and the Murtal golf club.

Which hiking trails start directly from the campsite (routes, length, elevation gain)?

Guests can explore the surroundings by bike directly from the campsite and experience the Murtal region on various routes.

Are there circular routes for relaxed walks (suitable for families)?

For leisurely walks, the circular route Schitterhof–Red Bull Ring–Spielberg Center is suitable (approx. 45 minutes, flat and family-friendly).

Which bike paths or e-bike tours are nearby (routes, elevation profile)?

Cyclists can connect to the Murradweg R2, which is reachable in about 10 minutes. E-bike tours towards Seckau or Judenburg are particularly popular.

The campsite does not assume any liability for weather-related damages, theft, or property damage caused by third parties. Guests are advised to secure their vehicles and valuables.

Which items are prohibited for safety reasons (fireworks, weapons, glass)?

For security reasons prohibited: fireworks, pyrotechnics, weapons, glass bottles, and flammable liquids.

What rules apply to alcohol, smoking, and youth protection at the venue?

The consumption of alcohol is allowed in moderation. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas and not in sanitary or dining areas. Youth protection according to Austrian law is enforced.

How is compliance with the night-time rest period monitored and enforced?

The night-time quiet period is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Security monitors compliance. Violations will be warned initially, with repeated offenses potentially resulting in eviction.

When is the departure possible on race Sunday (time window, recommendation)?

Departure on race Sunday is officially from 8:00 p.m. or as soon as the event organizer's security releases the exit; in practice, departure from the Schitterhof is usually possible about an hour after the end of the race.

How is the traffic control managed during departure (exit, S36 connection)?

Please follow the EXIT signs at the campsite; during F1 and MotoGP events, the exit is not via the entrance road. Traffic management is handled by the organizer; the S36 (Spielberg/Zeltweg Ost entrance) is approximately 800 meters away.

Are there fixed check-out times or a requirement to report upon departure?

On Monday, departure is generally possible at any time; please try to leave by 1:00 p.m. at the latest if possible.

Can I stay at the location after check-out (e.g. until noon)?

For camping guests, there is no fixed check-out process. Departure can be flexible as long as the pitch is left clean and the garbage bags are properly placed at the pitch. A regulated check-out only applies to chalet guests.

Are there any tips for a congestion-free departure (time windows, routes)?

For a congestion-free departure, Monday is generally a good choice; an alternative route via Zeltweg is not recommended.
