We don’t just say it’s quiet here – we had it measured.
What was measured
An independent sound survey to ÖNORM S 5004 (Objectcheck.at) recorded the actual noise situation on two nights of the Formula 1 weekend (26–27 and 27–28 June 2026, 23:00–00:30 each) – measured on the noisier of the two Schitterhof plots.
Where the sound comes from
On the site itself, no noise from our guests was detectable at any time; the report records a “very quiet campsite operation”. The base level was around 47 dB(A), the midnight peak about 54 dB(A). According to the survey this level comes from the surroundings of the Red Bull Ring – not from the site.
What this means for you
Quiet hours from 11 pm, no party noise on the site, restful sleep even on a race weekend.
