General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These terms and conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations between the operator of the Schitterhof campsite (hereinafter the “campsite operator”) and the camping guest. Ancillary agreements require written form and confirmation by the campsite operator to be effective. By making a booking, the camping guest accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking / Reservation
By making a booking, the camping guest bindingly offers to conclude a contract for the provision of a pitch area. The booking is made online via www.schitterhof.at and also applies to all accompanying persons, for whose obligations the camping guest is liable. The contract is concluded upon the automatic confirmation e-mail (including invoice and QR code) after payment has been received in full.
3. Duration of the Stay
The booked period is binding. If reserved nights are not used (later arrival or earlier departure), there is no entitlement to a refund for nights not consumed.
4. Pitch
The specific pitch is allocated on the day of arrival. The campsite operator reserves the right to assign a different, equivalent pitch even after a confirmed booking.
5. Prices & Services
The prices displayed in the booking form at the time of booking (including VAT) apply. The base price includes the stated nights; additional persons, nights and options are charged as displayed. Children under 15 years of age are exempt from the local tourist tax. Fresh water, grey water disposal and emptying of the chemical toilet are free of charge on site. Dogs are free of charge.
6. Cancellation & Rebooking
A cancellation can be requested via “My Booking” as a cancellation request; it is reviewed and confirmed by the campsite operator. The following tiered rule applies – uniformly for all events – calculated from the start of the event:

If the organiser postpones or relocates the event, the booking automatically transfers to the replacement date. If the event is cancelled entirely and without replacement, the amount paid is refunded in full.
7. Campsite Rules
The campsite rules in force at any given time are an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of serious violations, the guest may be expelled from the site; in that case there is no entitlement to a refund.
8. Payment
The booking becomes binding upon full advance payment online (via the payment service provider in the booking form). No deposit is provided for. After payment has been received, the camping guest automatically receives the confirmation and invoice by e-mail.
9. Defects
Complaints must be reported to the campsite operator without delay during the stay, so that the operator can remedy the defect within a reasonable period.
10. Liability
The campsite operator is not liable for damage caused by the failure or disruption of the water, electricity and gas supply, or by noise nuisance from third parties. In the case of slightly negligent breaches of duty, liability for damage caused by use of the facilities is excluded.
11. Place of Jurisdiction
Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Leoben/Styria.
12. Miscellaneous
Printing, display and transmission errors excepted.
13. Language Version
These General Terms and Conditions are provided in further languages purely as a service translation. Only the German version is authoritative and legally binding; in the event of discrepancies or questions of interpretation, the German text applies.
