MotoGP or Formula 1 in Spielberg? The honest comparison for camping fans at the Red Bull Ring

Two Events. One Racetrack. What's Right for You?

The Red Bull Ring is one of the few places worldwide with two World Championships: Formula 1 (June 26–28, 2026) and MotoGP (September 18–20, 2026). Both spectacular – but very different.

Atmosphere

F1: 200,000 spectators over the weekend. Almost 40,000 Dutch fans in orange. A folk festival with races. Loud, international, exuberant – flares, Orange Army, huge atmosphere.

MotoGP: ~100,000 spectators. Hardcore fans, bikers from DE/AT/IT. More direct, closer to the sport – less festival, more pure racing.
